Retention, Persistence & Graduation-Rate Language

Describe graduation rates using our own institutional definition and timeframe, not the federal IPEDS definition, since ours may not directly translate. Be ready to explain how we track our own numbers and why.
Partial

Why This Matters

MSCHE Standard 1 (Mission & Governance) requires four years of disaggregated student-achievement data. UMF is a non-IPEDS institution, so an alternative, clearly defined methodology is required in its place.

Portal Evidence Today

  • MSCHE Exhibit Tracker — already flags this exact gap under Standard 1: “UMF is non-IPEDS. Provide alternative metrics (SAM, completion, earnings) with methodology and four years of disaggregated data.”
